Village Hotel are proposing to reduce the squash/racketball courts from 3nr to possibly 2nr and even down to just 1nr.

 
The Village has over many years competed in squash and racketball leagues, winning many titles. The competing clubs across the northwest consider the Village to be one of the most prestigious clubs to visit. Losing any of the three remaining (was originally 6) courts would see the end of Village participation in these national leagues.
The Village has had numerous coaching facilities that has encouraged families to take up the sport, including Vernon Rogers, Ken Rigby and more recently Steve Lamb.

The 'team' spirit within the membership is both healthy and strong, with many members helping others through tough times when needed, as experienced first hand by myself after recent heart attack and surgery. 

 With regard any planned changes to courts, I would welcome any opportunity to engage in conversation/decision making/debate/meeting with Village Management. If needed, I can get much support to my case and get others involved should our voice be considered.
