The state of Hawaii has used our tax dollars to pay for the defense of the Kealohas, the 3 officers that ran those poor kids of the road and acted like nothing happened and now another 3 council members from the Kealoha case. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. State representatives and employees that commit crimes should not be defended with our tax dollars! They should obtain private representation on their own dime or use a public defender like anyone else would. Why are we as tax payers paying to let criminals get away with crime?! This is an outrage! Sign this petition to end state use of funds for the defense of criminals. Criminals need to pay their own way and it is NOT the obligation of tax payers to assist these criminals in escaping justice for their crimes.
