Stop Using Public Tax Money for Foreign Wars and Invest in Local and Social Welfare

Stop Using Public Tax Money for Foreign Wars and Invest in Local and Social Welfare
The Issue
We, the undersigned citizens, urge the government to prioritise the allocation of public tax money to support local councils and social welfare programs rather than foreign wars. Our communities deserve to benefit from the taxes we pay, and it's time to redirect those funds to address the pressing needs of our local areas. We also strongly assert that we do not approve of our tax money being used to finance actions that harm children, innocent civilians, result in massacres or genocide.
We believe that our tax revenue should be used to improve the quality of life for our residents and ensure a brighter future for our local communities. We request that the government take the following actions:
1. Allocate a significant portion of public tax revenue to local councils to address essential services like education, healthcare, infrastructure, and affordable housing.
2. Prioritise funding for social welfare programs, including support for vulnerable populations, mental health services, and programs aimed at reducing poverty and homelessness.
3. Ensure that public tax money is not used to finance foreign military interventions or wars unless it is absolutely necessary for national defence. Instead, our agenda should be global peace and immediate ceasefire of current Israel Palestinian conflict.
By signing this petition, we are calling on the government to invest in our local areas, promote social welfare, and cease using our hard-earned money for foreign conflicts that harm innocent lives. Let's build a better future for our communities together.
We thank you for your support in signing this petition. Together, we can make a difference and influence how our tax revenue are utilised for the betterment of our society. Join us in our call for change by adding your signature today.
