I am one among the hundreds of thousands of victims across the nation who have been subjected to unlawful surveillance, harassment, and victimization by law enforcement, neighbors, and fellow citizens. My personal journey with this issue began years ago when I stood up against bullying since my elementary school days. When I decided to blow the whistle on these injustices happening around me, instead of receiving support or protection, I found myself slandered and further victimized.

Our homes are invaded; our privacy is violated through 24/7 electronic surveillance. We are blacklisted in our communities and barred from employment opportunities. This has led many like me to a state of financial destitution where we struggle even to pay our bills or child support. All this happens because we are illegally placed on watchlists without any due process.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) along with other organizations and Congress have turned a blind eye towards us despite repeated pleas for help. This is not just an infringement on our rights as citizens but also a gross violation of human dignity.

We demand immediate action from lawmakers at all levels - local, state, federal - to put an end to this illegal practice that has left countless lives in ruins. It's time for us victims to reclaim our rights and live without fear in our own homes.
