This petition serves to generate support against unlawful deprivation of civil rights to all who exercise free speech in public spaces. Personally I am a street performer and I would like to perform freely without being harassed by law enforcement. According to TITLE 18, U.S.C., SECTION 242 I am well within my rights as a human to perform(speak) anywhere. I’ve been harassed by police and publix management, and refused by 7/11 and WAWA management threatening to call the police on me which is unconstitutional.

They try to use “it’s private property” as a means to thwart my efforts but, regardless it goes against the constitution of the United States.

I believe there are others that try to share their art but meet similar circumstances, therefore I am pushing this petition so we don’t have to be afraid to express ourselves.
