Stop Unjust Termination of SRCH Employees

The Issue

This petition is sparked by an incident that profoundly disturbed me, involving a hardworking woman I know who fell victim to wrongful termination from  Santa Rosa Community Health (SRCH). This individual, like many others, has been discriminated against, a situation that is both unwelcome and distressing and should not be part of any workplace today.

The International Labor Organization in 2021 noted that discrimination at work remains a persistent global problem, affecting all workers to varying degrees ("Workplace discrimination: A persistent global problem"). This is not just an occurrence in one organization, but a symptom of a greater issue that needs to be sternly addressed, and rapidly.

SRCH, as a respectable organization, should stand against such practices and uphold the value of fair labor standards. It is deeply concerning that a company of its size and reputation, supposedly dedicated to employee welfare, can be an arena for such blatant injustice.

Therefore, we demand an immediate and thorough investigation into this matter, as well as any potential discriminatory practices within SRCH. It is critical that repercussions, if deemed appropriate, be immediately implemented to prevent these occurrences from spilling into the future, tarnishing the morale of hard-working individuals.

24 years of hard work and dedication which provides healthcare to this community.

We call upon everyone, regardless of whether you've had the same experience or not, to join this petition, adding your voice to ours. Stand with us as we fight against wrongful termination and in defense of fairness and justice in the workplace. Please sign this petition today.
