I am a resident of the Bridgewater subdivision, Orlando, FL, and like many others here, I am tired of playing musical car parking due to the Homeowners Association (HOA) fining us for parking infractions on a county-owned road. This is not just an inconvenience; it's a violation of our rights as residents.

The road in question is owned by Orange County and thus falls under its jurisdiction. According to Florida Statutes Section 316.1945(1)(a)2., it is illegal for any entity other than law enforcement or government agencies to issue parking tickets on public roads.

This situation has caused unnecessary stress and financial strain on hardworking families who are simply trying to park near their homes. It's time we stand up against this unfair practice.

We call upon the HOA board members to stop issuing fines for parking infractions on this county-owned road immediately. We also request that Orange County authorities intervene in this matter to ensure that residents' rights are upheld.
