The film series ‘Tikur Adey,’ which I legally created and own, has been uploaded to YouTube without authorisation. This is a clear copyright violation and misuse of my intellectual property. I am requesting immediate action from YouTube/Google to remove the content and prevent further misuse.

They have only trust in working together, but someone denied his series.

Intellectual property rights and copyright protection

 I am Mesahent Yeshitila, and I trusted one of my friends to work with me on my idea, but without telling me, he and his wife uploaded my series script to YouTube. I warned him not to take any further action without my confirmation, but he kept doing things himself by discussing my ideas with the 3rd party. I started this commitment with him by trust and had an agreement (Amharic version, we can provide evidence if necessary). But finally, he never fulfilled the obligation, whatever we agreed. Also, he denied my own 19 properties, which could cost a million. For example, a big professional camera. He only returned one item. Everything he did was because he knew I was not in Ethiopia; I am abroad. I lived in the United Kingdom with my family, but travel regularly in Ethiopia.

In this case, I would like to report to YouTube to stop my movie series from being uploaded on social media without my consent. Black Adey/TikurAdey is the channel. For any award she received under my film series name (Tikur Adey), I can strongly appeal to the Gumma Film Awards. They gave honour acknowledgement to Helena Dereje, the wife of Artist Natay Getachew, which is not her work. By stealing someone’s honour (Mr Mesafent Yeshitila).
