An AI Algorithm Is Silencing American Voices on TikTok Livestreams
Every day, ordinary Americans are being banned from TikTok livestreams for doing nothing more than having conversations with friends and telling jokes. Not hate speech. Not violence. Just normal human expression — the kind protected by the First Amendment since 1791.

Congress forced TikTok to divest from Chinese ownership to protect American free speech. But an unaccountable AI censorship machine inherited from that era is still operating — with no human oversight, no fair appeals, and no transparency.

Making matters worse, a broad reporting system allows bad-faith actors to mass-report and silence anyone they disagree with. This is censorship by proxy, and it has to stop.
