The Willow Project is an oil drilling project in Alaska that will produce an estimated 160,000 barrels of oil a day. The noise pollution, traffic, and pollution in general will disrupt the many ecosystems that the indigenous Alaskans have relied on for millennia.

      Willow is currently the biggest oil project on US public land and it will emit at least 263 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions in 30 years. This project will threaten the already endangered caribou population, polar bear population, and will speed up the climate crisis.

      Biden promised to make climate change a central pillar of his presidency but he has already let us down. Even though the Willow project has already been approved, it’s not too late to take action and stop it. If enough people sign this petition, we could shut down the Willow project and bring justice to our planet!
