The Willow project is a $6 billion proposal from ConocoPhillips' (COP.N) to drill oil and gas in Alaska. Many animals are already dying, and if this project is comfirmed, it will be much worse and some animals will even become extinct. And this will not only affect animals, it will also affect the lives of plants and humans too.

If this project is approved, it will produce around 270 million metric tons of c02 into the atmosphere. This will polute the air and also thicken the greenhouse layer, causing the earth to heat up much quicker. This may seem like a good thing for summers but it will melt the arctic and other icy cold areas and harm the environment that arctic animals live in. This wont just affect polar bears or seals, it will also affect other animals in the world due to pollution and environmental changes that they are not prepared for.
