Dear Neighbours,
I am so proud to announce that we have officially reached 350 signatures!
I want to extend a huge thank you to Daron Mann. His support in sharing our petition has been instrumental in reaching this goal. It’s a powerful reminder that when we stand together—and when voices like Daron’s amplify us—we cannot be ignored by the "powers that be."
THE STRATEGIC SHIFT:
I am NOT handing these names over to the City Manager this morning. Why?
- The Silence: It has been 19 days since my first formal letter (March 6) and the Metro hasn't even acknowledged it.
- The Grilling: The Mayor is currently being roasted in Parliament for the R60M debt and the "Dark Age" of our city. 🏛️🔥
- The Momentum: With Daron’s share, we have a chance to make this mandate even bigger.
The Next Move:
We are keeping the petition open until Friday to reach 500 names.
As the Mayor continues to face questions in Parliament today about the R60 million contractor debt and the "Dark Age" of our city, let’s keep our momentum going.
NEW GOAL: 500 BY FRIDAY.
We are holding the 350 names back so we can walk in on Friday with 500. If they won't answer one letter, they will have to answer half a thousand residents.
