MAX Transit is celebrating Black History and is asking for your participation in spreading a message of love. 

For over 50 years, MAX has been apart of activism and positive change within the community. 

Together, we can make a greater impact. Together, we can Stop the Violence in the Name of Love.

We’re asking you to:

• Sign your name affirming the pledge against violence. 
• Reflect at 3 PM when our operators sound their horn each day.
• Raise your hand in support of non-violence when you see a bus pass.

Pledge to Stop the Violence

• practice nonviolent conflict resolution and never commit a reckless and unnecessary or unjust act of violence

• be an active bystander and never condone or remain silent about violence in my community

• examine and challenge my own beliefs about violence to settle grievances

• educate myself and others on the impact of violence in our community

• work to find lasting solutions for violence in our community

• commit to being part of the change needed to create a community that is safe for all people
