Stop the Usage of E-passes in Our School

Stop the Usage of E-passes in Our School
The Issue
As a current student, I am deeply concerned by the recent implementation of E-passes in our school. These passes are supposedly aimed at managing and keeping track of student movements during class hours. Most disturbingly, they even monitor our trips to the restroom. This feels like an invasion of our privacy and personal space.
The introduction of E-passes has made us feel uncomfortable and under surveillance at all times. It is essential to understand that students not only come to school for education but also for personal development and learning how to be independent. Such restrictive measures stunt our growth in that respect.
While the administration might have introduced this system for efficient management, it is important to remember that this is an educational institution and not a prison. The National Pupil's Rights Survey 2020 states that school environment should be conducive for students to learn and grow, not feel monitored and controlled. This feels like a direct violation of that principle.
The purpose of this petition is not to promote indiscipline but to advocate for the fundamental right to privacy, even within the confines of a school. It is a successive call on the school administration to stop the usage of E-passes and to reassure students that our individual rights and personal spaces are respected and protected.
Please support us in this fight by signing this petition. Let us work together to make our school a better place for students.
