I have personally witnessed numerous instances where our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), has been unjustly labeled as a "cult". This misrepresentation is not only hurtful but also grossly inaccurate. If one were to examine our teachings without bias, it would become clear that they are designed to promote peace, unity, and understanding - values that could potentially solve many global issues.

The LDS church is one of the fastest-growing religions in the world with over 17 million members worldwide. Despite this, we continue to face discrimination and prejudice based on misconceptions and misinformation about our beliefs. According to a study by Pew Research Center in 2014, Mormons are among the most discriminated religious groups in America.

This petition aims at ending this unfair persecution by promoting awareness about our faith's true teachings and principles.
