Stop the unfair treatment of men worldwide
The Issue
Throughout history, we have witnessed what happens when those in power attempt to alter people's behavior because they're deemed "too black," "too gay," "too nontraditional," "too godless," "too poor," or "too foreign." I've personally endured bullying during my upbringing simply because I was an anime fan or considered a "nerd." Nobody should possess the authority to dictate what constitutes "acceptable behavior" for any particular group, including men.
In Australia, the Secretary of Men's Behavioral Change and similar initiatives globally are engaging in a deeply concerning practice of social engineering. These initiatives, masquerading as behavior modification programs, represent a dystopian, coercive, state-sponsored effort that is highly unethical. They are a slippery slope toward totalitarian schemes of control that could eventually infringe upon everyone's lives and their right to freedom.
Imagine the absurdity if we were to reverse the roles and establish governmental bodies intent on changing behaviors seen as "too female". The outrage would be palpable. No one should be subjected to control or judgment based on their identity or views, yet these initiatives promote exactly that, labeling parts of identity as problems to be fixed.
Ethics and freedom should be at the forefront of any policy or program addressing behavior. Such governmental approaches must be dismantled to safeguard basic human rights and freedoms. It is a collective responsibility to ensure that such overreaches do not become legitimized on an international scale.
We call upon Australian authorities and governments worldwide to shut down these intrusive programs and respect the civil rights of men everywhere. By doing so, we can prevent further establishment of these coercive structures and protect individual liberties.
Sign this petition to demand the immediate halt of behavior modification mandates targeting men, and uphold the rights to personal freedom and individuality for all.
