The department for AP Language has decided upon making the assignment and the work that is for the final be for a major grade in the RC4 grade book as well. This means that all students, despite if they have an exemption form, have to put in the exact same work as any student who is taking the final in order to avoid receiving a 0 in the gradebook. Keep in mind, this is after the teachers agreed and signed our exemption forms. The exemption forms are supposed to relieve us from the work/test/etc we are supposed to do for the final. Instead, students with signed exemption forms who took the AP exam are forced to do the work after being promised they wouldn’t have to. The time and effort students put into the class in order to be eligible for an exemption is instead undervalued and unappreciated. Please use your voice and sign the petition to show the administration this is unfair.
