Stop the unethical treatment of minors at Harsha Behavioral Center!

The Issue

In recent years, it has become increasingly evident that mental health has become an epidemic in our country. At a local level, dozens of minors are admitted to Harsha Behavioral Center, which in many cases has been a detrimental mistake. I myself, had a horrific experience at Harsha. In the 7 days I was there, I was gas-lit and lied to, treated like an animal or a criminal, I never once got a psychological assessment or spoke to a therapist. I have document proof of this! The Doctor refused to speak to my mother, and they sent me home still actively in psychosis and delusional, claiming that I would be able to go to school the next day. I can tell you for certain, I COULD NOT have gone to school the next day, or even that whole following month or two with the trauma I was dealing with. It was the most awful experience of my life. They told me I wouldn't remember, but I remember everything.

If no action is taken, Harsha will be allowed to continue their unethical practices against our youth.

But if we come together to make a change, we can make meaningful action and stop the abuse being done to kids of our community.

The goal of this petition is to get Harsha to not only come forward and take accountability, but to truly reform their ways, and ensure that all of the Techs must be licensed and all of the employees receive a psychological assessment upon hiring and regularly during their employment.
