Fellow county residents: McIntosh County government has chosen to substitute chemical herbicide spraying in lieu of roadside mowing to control roadside vegetation. The names and distances of all roadside spraying locations in the county are listed below. How many intersections with tidal creeks lie along those 88 miles? Some of you live on or near one of those roads. If so, wouldn't you expect to be notified of roadside herbicide spraying scheduled to begin "late March or early April”? 

The first sheet of the attached file below shows a general application schedule. No specific dates have been given, and it is not known what the county’s plans are, if any, to notify property owners on named roads when spraying will occur so that pets, livestock, and children can be kept a safe distance away from the roadside area to be sprayed. Could be tomorrow or the next day. Chem Pro is the contractor for spraying.
