Halifax county residents please listen. Currently we have 7 approved solar facilities for our area & after going to the board of supervisors & planning commission meeting last night, there are 26 possible ones coming. That means, the next one could be in YOUR backyard. Are you ok with that? We have to stand up & have our voices heard to keep our county safe. Do some research on the negative effects of living near a solar farm. How many more will be approved? Why? I can tell you it’s all about money. Bottom line is it’s millions of dollars that look great to those in charge. But what’s the price? Our lives, our health, our farmland lost & our beautiful countryside lined with solar panels? Is it worth it? I personally don’t think so, so that’s why I’m fighting for my hometown.
