Did you know that it is really easy to purchase catapults and crossbows, which can cause devastating harm, sometimes fatal, to animals and humans?

Temu and Amazon sell catapults for as little as £1.48, enabling young children to acquire them easily and without any vetting, to unfortunately then use to cause painful injuries to birds and other wildlife in parks in London (and no doubt other places around the UK).

The government had said they would tackle the issue, but as yet nothing has been done.  

I am sure the horrific event in Bushey in which Kyle Clifford murdered three women, stabbing the mother and using a crossbow to kill her two daughters,  is still fresh in our minds and hearts.

Killing or maiming animals is awful enough,  but this behaviour can lead to abuse and murder of humans. 

Please sign the petition to remove weapons like catapults and crossbows from these (and other relative) websites and put in measures of verification so that they are only purchased where entirely necessary by mature and sane minded people.
