Orvie Dingwall says it’s “Time for Change in North Kildonan”

Thank you for the continued support you have shown to helping stop the road. Your signatures, words, and advocating is not unseen or unheard.
However, regardless of our many efforts Councillor Browaty is still trying to push forward with the road through our beloved Kilcona dog park. Well he now has a very serious challenger for the Councillor position in October's Municipal election. Orvie Dingwall is running to take Browatys place on City Council in North Kildonan. Orvie has lived in North Kildonan for 16 years and her and her husband have raised 2 children there and have 2 Labradoodles. Orvies family walks their 2 dogs daily at Kilcona. She is very supportive if our opposition to the road and would like to see the money spent on other more people, nature and dog friendly upgrades to the park. If we want to stop the road at this point, we think our best chance is to elect Orvie and work with her to prioritize park improvements that favour dogs and people over cars and trucks. Also, she is having her official campaign Launch on Tuesday July 28th at the Pavilion at Kilcona starting at 5:30pm. It would be great if everyone could come.
