Stop the Rezoning of Our Neighborhood from Residential to Business

Stop the Rezoning of Our Neighborhood from Residential to Business
The Issue
As residents of Lassiter Road and Holly Lane in Holly Springs, North Carolina, we are deeply concerned about the application to rezone properties in our neighborhood from Suburban Residential to Community Business-Conditional Zoning District (5260/5256 Sunset Lake Road & 0/0 Lassiter Road - see attached map). Our main objective is achieving public safety for the Holly Spring citizens that live on our street or within close proximity. Traffic is already an issue and adding another business would create increased risk of tragedy.
Rezoning will further increase traffic congestion, endangering pedestrians and children who play outside. The increased commercial activity could also lead to noise pollution and decreased property values. We must prioritize the safety and well-being of our community over commercial interests.
Please join us in opposing this rezoning application by signing this petition.
