Our quaint, close-knit community is facing an impending challenge that could drastically alter the character of our neighborhood. As a group of deeply concerned citizens, we stand against the proposed rezoning of 11470 Bond Road from RR2 to RM4. The change would set a dangerous precedent for Lake Country: from a peaceful, residential area flourishing with family units into a commercial hub teeming with 55 affordable units that our street is simply ill-equipped to handle.
Stephen, from Front Side Developments, publicized a new meeting date. Sadly, his due diligence remains confined to a 100-meter radius—leaving many community members in the dark about this substantial community issue.
The fact is, our land was not built for such high-density developments: our infrastructure would be severely strained and our quiet, neighborly road would be overwhelmed. Furthermore, such a drastic change could also set a precedent for unwanted growth in our community—changing the face of Lake Country forever.
We love our community, and we wish to preserve its charm and residential character. Please join your hands with ours in opposing the rezoning of 11470 Bond Road from RR2 to RM4.
