Petitioners,
As you know, our effort to stop the renaming of Dundas was about much more than just a name - it was a stand against how Toronto is managed. This issue highlighted the entrenched ideological problems that have taken hold at City Hall.
The fight for a return to common sense in our city is just beginning and so it’s essential to vote in the upcoming by-election in Don Valley West. Following the passing of Jaye Robinson earlier this year, the council seat is now vacant. With the vote on November 4th we see this by-election as a crucial opportunity to hold City Hall accountable.
We are proud to endorse ANTHONY FUREY in this by-election. Mr. Furey has been a strong advocate for our efforts to refocus City Hall on what truly matters. He is committed to responsible spending and doing right by the people of Toronto. From the start, he recognized that City Council’s fixation on renaming landmarks was an expensive and needless distraction from the real issues.
If you live in Don Valley West, share our concerns, and believe it’s time for a fresh approach, please vote for Anthony Furey on November 4th. Let’s bring common sense back to City Hall!
