We, the undersigned, strongly oppose the release and distribution of the upcoming film The Carpenter’s Son, which presents a horror-fiction version of the life of Jesus Christ.

For Christians worldwide, Jesus is not a fictional character — He is the Son of God, our Savior, and the central figure of our faith. Re-imagining His holy life as a horror story is deeply offensive, disrespectful, and blasphemous.

This film misrepresents sacred truth, mocks our faith, and risks misleading viewers who may not know the true Gospel. We believe freedom of expression must not come at the expense of deliberately distorting and degrading what billions hold sacred.
