Chilton Co High School and Jemison High School seniors pulled off an epic "Senior Prank!" These kids swapped schools, CCHS students went to JHS and vice versa. It wasn't noticed until mid morning. Now they are being punished very harshly. Students sent to alternative school, suspended, kicked off sports teams, not allowed to attend Senior prom, threatened with jail time, etc. I personally don't believe this prank warrants any punishment as it was harmless. But I think the most punishment that should be handed out is in school or after school detention. Let's be honest, the administration is who is at fault here. If it took them half the morning to realize they had strangers in the school, we have bigger problems than a Senior prank. The reality is, the lack of security was exposed and now they want to punish the children. LETS STAND UP FOR THE CHILDREN AND BE THEIR VOICE! ***I am NOT a parent to a child at either school, just a citizen who believes these kids are being punished unfairly and some are getting their futures ripped away for an innocent prank!***
