The Issue

We, the residents and concerned citizens of Connecticut, respectfully oppose the proposed project currently before the Connecticut Siting Council.

This project raises serious concerns for nearby residents, property owners, families, and the surrounding community. Before any approval is granted, the public deserves full transparency, a thorough review of the potential impacts, and meaningful consideration of the voices of the people who will be directly affected.

We are asking the Connecticut Siting Council to deny, reject, or require major reconsideration of this project until the concerns of the community are fully addressed.

This proposed project may have long-term effects on our community, including concerns related to:

Property values

Quality of life for nearby residents

Noise, traffic, and construction disruption

Environmental impact

Wildlife and natural land disturbance

Visual impact on the surrounding area

Public health and safety concerns

Lack of proper community input

Residents should not be forced to accept a project that may negatively affect their homes, families, land, and way of life without having their concerns taken seriously.

The Connecticut Siting Council has a responsibility to carefully consider not only the technical details of a project, but also the real impact it may have on the people who live in the affected area.

We respectfully ask the Connecticut Siting Council to:

Reject or deny the proposed project as currently presented.

Require a full and transparent review of the environmental, residential, and community impacts.

Give affected residents a fair opportunity to be heard.

Consider alternative locations or solutions that do not negatively impact local neighborhoods.

Place the wellbeing of Connecticut residents, families, and communities ahead of private or corporate interests.

By signing this petition, we are standing together as residents, neighbors, property owners, parents, and concerned citizens.

We believe this project should not move forward without full public review, honest transparency, and serious consideration of the people who will be directly affected.

Our community deserves to be protected. Our concerns deserve to be heard. Our homes, land, and quality of life matter.

We urge the Connecticut Siting Council to listen to the residents and oppose this project.

Please sign and share this petition to help protect our community.
