The Issue

The Seagrass Station Single Family POA has been made aware of the proposed convenience store at the corner of HWY 170 and Seagrass Station Rd.  The board shares in the anger and frustration of some residents in the proposed development.  The Single Family POA is suggesting the following plan of action and request your vote in the matter:

Although public comment is limited to three minutes and may not directly influence the initial vote, it could be impactful when the proposal proceeds out of committee and is brought before the Town Council for final approval or denial.

We are now asking that each board entity—the Townhome Board, the POA Board, and the Master POA Board—formally vote yes or no on taking action. If all entities vote yes, we would like to collaborate on either a unified public comment or prepare three separate comments, depending on what is agreed upon.

The Town Council meeting is scheduled for July 23, and adequate time is needed for research and preparation. We would greatly appreciate receiving your final vote as soon as possible to allow for proper coordination.

Let’s form a united front in getting our voices heard.

Thank you for your attention and timely response.
