Petition Supporters,

We need your help: there is an open house with CCPS on Tuesday, January 30, 6pm, at Corkscrew Middle School. We need as many in attendance as possible. 

I want to thank you for signing the Imperial petition. We now have over 300 signatures and growing. Please remember to share the petition with neighbors who may not have received the email or attended the board meeting. You can also forward the petition to anyone - grandparents, friends, other community members - who has a stake in this decision. This is not an issue purely for elementary school parents. This proposal will have community-wide impacts. 

The CCPS attendance boundary proposal could:

• Worsen congestion on Immokalee
• Create community safety concerns
• Negatively impact home values
• Fracture existing school communities
• Disrupt children's education continuity

Imperial is not the only neighborhood in this fight. There are other neighborhoods equally as frustrated, and many more supporters of this cause than appear on this petition. There are others working hard in their own neighborhood to ensure all our voices are heard.
