Stop the Plan of Warehouse on Farmland in Doylestown, Pa

The Issue

Dear residents of Buckingham and Doylestown, our entire community is at risk of being profoundly affected by the proposed warehouse at 4344 Cold Spring Creamery Rd. The sod farm is under threat of becoming a massive 150,000 sq ft. warehouse, featuring 30 truck bays, 4 drive up bays and 300 parking spots. (Township File LD 2023-014344.) The serene landscape and the charm of our neighborhood are at stake. Sources suggest it may be a Fred Beans Parts warehouse. Regardless of what it is, it will have an impact on our community.

The potential construction of this warehouse raises serious concerns about the future of our community. If this project proceeds, it will drastically change the character of our area. The increased truck traffic - anywhere from dozens to potentially over a hundred trucks per day - and this may lead to congestion, noise pollution, and potential safety hazards on our roads. The peaceful ambiance we currently enjoy will be disrupted, and the beauty of our surroundings could be marred by industrial development.

We cannot afford to wait any longer; immediate action is required to preserve the essence of our neighborhood. Wildlife lives on this sod farm. A elementary school and many neighborhoods are nearby. The upcoming meeting on August 2nd at 7:30 pm in the township building is crucial as it will determine the fate of this project. We must come together as a united front to voice our concerns and stand against the potential negative impact of this warehouse specially at this location. The company will be the only thing benefiting from this.

This is not just about a single facility; it's about safeguarding the core values and aesthetics of our community. Once industrial development sets in, it becomes challenging to reverse the damage. As one warehouse comes, so does may more.  The time to act is now before it's too late. Let us demonstrate our dedication to preserving the tranquility and harmony of our beloved Buckingham and Doylestown.

Sign this petition and let us come together to protect our home from unwanted industrial encroachment. Make sure to share this petition. Let's ensure a brighter future for generations to come.
