I, along with my fellow residents of Beagle Close, Roebuck, Foxwood and our Brookside estate in Feltham, United Kingdom, have been grappling with an issue that is causing us great concern. We are faced with the unnecessary placement of eBikes in our Estate. Our community group chat is filled with concerns about this issue - not one person is happy about it.

Our residential streets are already limited for parking spaces and struggle to accommodate the current volume of vehicles. The addition of these eBikes will only exacerbate this problem. Furthermore, they pose a significant danger to our community; Emergency vehicles may find it difficult to pass through and disabled individuals might not have enough space on the pavement due to scattered bikes.

Furthermore, these bikes do not serve our community as they should be located near workplaces for commuting purposes. This would enable people to use them for commuting to and from stations rather than cluttering up our residential areas.

We believe that a more strategic placement plan (not on our estate) could alleviate these issues while still providing an eco-friendly transportation option for those who need it most during their daily commute.

This petition is personal because we care deeply about maintaining the safety and accessibility of our neighborhoods. We urge local authorities to reconsider their current strategy regarding eBike placements within Brookside Estate.
