Enough is enough.

In the 24-25 financial year alone, politicians billed taxpayers more than $1.1 million on family travel. This includes Anika Wells' widely reported travel expenses. Over $8500 on the AFL grand final for herself and her husband. Nearly $3000 for a family ski trip and $1800 on the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix.

Australians are suffering from the cost of living, with one in three going hungry. Politicians spending our money on luxuries many could only dream of simply does not pass the pub test. We deserve better.

It's time to hold our elected representatives to account.

Politicians do make the rules, and Parliament can change them. They have the power to close loopholes, tighten the guidelines or scrap entitlements entirely. 

If something is “within the rules” but clearly wrong, it’s the rules that need fixing.

Stop the perks. Put the people first. Reform politicians' entitlements now.
