On August 9th, one of the teachers at Centennial High School in Corona made an announcement to students about important updates. The 6th update, however, is unreasonable and against students. The Office Hours, which many students and teachers use to study, host events, retake work or tests, and host clubs, were modified without telling any student attending Centennial High until just 2 days before school began, with only a handful of students being told about this change. In response to the sudden and shocking change, we students are opening this petition against the new Office Hours. The new Office Hours would cause:

1. Clubs to resort to other times that are important to students (such as before or after school), meaning some would not be able to attend these clubs' meetings
2. Students study at some other time for tests/quizes in a class that is important to pass
3. Students have to take time to retake tests/quizes in inconvenient times
4. Teachers have to host special events/meetings at different busy times

By signing this petition, you will help make Office Hours what it was before, and not what it will be now. We cannot suffer the fact that we will lose an influential piece of time that has helped many students, teachers, and staff succeed!!!
