The Nat West bank closure in Port Sunlight Wirral will make it impossible for residents to deposit money or withdraw it. Local fund raising charities will have to travel miles to bank cash. The area has a large number of elderly people who have no access to internet or online banking. The cash machine is a life line to the community and local businesses.  Other banks in the area have been closed a few years ago, the provision of banks is declining in areas of the Country.

We are calling on the government to provide more powers to the Financial Conduct  Authority, to prevent the banks carrying out further mass branch closures.
