The proposed Mid-States Corridor will displace over a hundred families, severing the history and emotional bonds tied to legacy farms and homes. This land-cleansing jeopardizes more than 800 acres of our cherished forests and vital wetlands, ecosystems that provide tranquility and unique biodiversity to our region. These areas aren't just lines on a map; they're crucial habitats and natural treasures that the current infrastructure doesn't compromise.
This massive project poses not only environmental destruction but also places undue financial strain on our community and local government.
