Many of us have chosen to live in Franklin because it's a small rural town. Bringing in potentially 500 rental units and retail will put an end to that. The magnitude of this project will affect us in many ways. The additional traffic will create safety issues for drivers and pedestrians at an already dangerous intersection. Can our school system accommodate the influx of new students? What about our resources—can we handle additional hookups to our water and sewer systems? How will this affect our taxes and property values?
