Stop the Mass Sale of Our Public Lands – Protect Wildlife and Wilderness Now
The Issue
The Trump administration and Senate Republicans are trying to sell off up to 3.3 million acres of our public lands across 11 Western states.
This is not just land—they’re habitats, forests, rivers, and mountains that animals call home. Once they’re gone, we will never get them back.
This plan is being pushed under the promise of "more housing," but there’s no guarantee any of it will be affordable. What’s more likely? Developers will snatch up these lands to build luxury homes and resorts, not housing for struggling families.
These lands belong to all of us. They are where wildlife thrive, where ecosystems remain untouched, and where people find peace, adventure, and connection with nature. Selling them off for quick cash is reckless and short-sighted.
Animals will lose their homes. Fragile ecosystems will be bulldozed. Clean water sources and air quality could be permanently damaged.
Even some Republicans are speaking out against this plan. Former Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke said it best: “Once the land is sold, we will never get it back.”
We must act now. Tell Congress and the Trump administration: No land grabs. No giveaways. No destruction of our shared wild spaces.
