With just under two weeks left we have done it!!! And not only done it but went over goal by 57 signatures. We want to thank each and every one of you who have taken part in signing our petition, and an even bigger thanks to all those top recruiters out there. We will be editing the letter, pointing out the facts about magpies, such as them having nothing to do with the declining numbers in song birds (this being one of the main reasons for culling) and we will also be pointing out alternatives to protect crops and urging them to use alternatives these instead. We hope the auspices will see sense and change the law. Magpies are innocent creatures and there is no standing excuse to kill them. If nothing changes and the reply we get is lame, we will no doubt set a back up petition in which we hope you will join us, but let’s hope this is not necessary. In sending it to the target, we live in hope that it will make a difference and obtain the right of life for magpies.  We can do this. Stop the Culling, Culling is Killing!!!
