Dorset Council plans to introduce a one-way traffic trial on Julians Bridge from Tuesday 26 May until Friday 3 July. This proposal is likely to create major congestion throughout Wimborne, forcing drivers onto unsuitable alternative routes and increasing traffic across the town.

Local residents, commuters, and businesses will all be affected. Increased journey times, delays, and reduced accessibility could have a serious impact on local trade and daily life during the trial period.

We believe Dorset Council should reconsider this decision and work with the community to explore more practical alternatives that do not risk causing widespread disruption.
