Stop The Landing apartments from forcing tenants to switch to Spectrum for $80

Stop The Landing apartments from forcing tenants to switch to Spectrum for $80
The Issue
The Landing apartment community has given tenants the freedom in the past to choose their internet provider, to which tenants were able to choose a plan that best suits their needs and price point.
However, The Landing has been forcing tenants to switch to Spectrum, an inferior service to the fiber optic internet provided by Frontier. For reference, Frontier Fiber Optic Internet is usually around $40 for 500mb/s download, 500mb/s upload. Spectrum offers the same speed of 500mb/s download and an inferior 20mb/s upload for $80.
This internet plan provider by Spectrum also affects those who work in tech, engineering, and editing. Since people who work in this field have to constantly upload their work in a timely manner, it severely impacts their livelihood.
This forced change is clear price gouging and greed by The Landing and in return, tenants are forced to pay more for an inferior product overall. Living in Long Beach is already expensive enough, tenants could at least have the choice to choose their internet provider like before.
