✊ Stop the Killing of Nepal’s Children

In Nepal, police forces have opened fire on unarmed students in school uniforms, killing at least 16 young people from Generation Z so far. These were children and youth peacefully raising their voices for justice , corruption, free speech and instead, they were silenced with bullets.

This is not just a tragedy for Nepal, it is a global human rights crisis.

We call on the United Nations and the international community to:

• Launch an urgent investigation into the unlawful killings of students in Nepal.
• Hold accountable those responsible for ordering and executing these acts.
• Deploy international monitoring mechanisms in Nepal to prevent further violence.
• Mobilize diplomatic pressure to stop the use of live ammunition against peaceful youth demonstrators.
