We are currently dealing with environmental issues such as global warming, flash floods, and so on. One of the reasons for these challenges is student waste management misconduct. Some students are careless with their rubbish disposal. They do not consider the potential consequences of their conduct on both the school environment and their personal health.

            Waste disposal is any way of getting rid of waste items or resources. Poor garbage disposal methods cause severe environmental issues in a location. Improper waste disposal is the disposal of garbage in a way that has negative environmental repercussions. Littering, hazardous garbage placed on the ground, and not recycling items that should be recycled are all examples.

This can lead to incorrect garbage disposal since people who do not observe proper waste disposal guidelines always discard it wherever they please with no regard for the consequences.

People lack awareness and knowledge about proper garbage disposal. People are oblivious to the consequences of their rash actions.

Skin irritation and blood infections result from direct contact with waste and transmitting bacteria from waste to infected wounds. Improper waste management can cause health problems such as lung disease, cardiac difficulties, skin irritation, breathing problems or abnormalities, and more.

Improper waste disposal can be seen as dirty, unhygienic, and revolting. This would affect the image of our school.

Open garbage burning pollutes the air, endangering our health and destroying the environment. For instance, the burning of rubber and plastic.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS: 

Find a way to buy goods that are more environmentally friendly rather than those plastic soda bottles. Bottle openers, calendars, coloring books, and many more items are a few of these.

Knowing that so many people hold our school in high regard while its reputation is being ruined by its own students makes me sad. Every time a typhoon hits the Philippines, many areas are subject to flooding, and to make matters worse, many families have lost their homes and have nothing left to live on. Storms and other natural disasters destroyed their wealth. Climate change and global warming are to blame for the erratic weather we are currently experiencing. Numerous illness types are brought on by unclean environments. The aroma of fresh air is no longer detectable to others. These are all global consequences of poor waste management.

What are you still holding out for? Stop the prevalent improper waste disposal. Practice the 3Rs "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" for the sake of our school and our nation
