HSAP is something called High School Apprenticeship Program. The HSAP focuses on math and English that students have learned in 9th and 10th grade. You must pass this test to pass High School. However, not all students can test well or they didn't have a good math background. All testing is pointless, it just makes students feel worse about themselves when they do poor and the other students mock them for their scores. Standard testing’s don't care about the student as a person, they are just a number. High school is supposed to help students for the future but these tests are pointless and bring students away from their studies and they focus on how bad they did. The government just sees kids as numbers when testing, however the student may be very smart but cannot test well.

 I feel very strongly on this subject because I failed the HSAP math part, and I was put in Math Lab for me to pass. I became very depressed and lost focus on other subjects. I was also mocked for failing, but no one ever asked why I failed. I came from a very bad math background. I know their are others who feel my pain and anger. So please sign this, and perhaps testing can go away forever. So no other students can feel stupid when they are not.
