Hello, I am a fellow Chaminade student and I am a sophomore. I went to Chaminade Middle School and I experienced the house system. I understand that the administration said that they would create the house system that supports this school and its needs. But this school loves how it works just the way it is and does not have a need for a house system. I do not like it and it is my understanding that the general opinion of this impending house system is negative. I understand and respect the people at this school who put hours into creating a fun environment for us to learn and lead. But no one likes house system and I believe that I go to a school that cares about their students opinions. I personally love spending time with my grade level at the rallies, and in two years I want to stand as a senior with my class and celebrate my last year here. Splitting the school into 8 houses will only divide us more, and create a stressful environment if none of your friends are in your house with you. I also understand that it is always important to meet new people and make new friends, but people want to spend their time with their friends and show their school spirit together.  If you agree please sign and spread this petition.
