Mt. Tabor area residents were put on notice that the Pine Haven homeless shelter would be potentially relocating to the Mt. Tabor area. The Raleigh County Community Action group is leading this project. Many residents are concerned about the negative impacts it could have on our local school, families, elderly residents, and community. If you would not like to see this change please sign the petition which can be presented on May 17th to the Board of Zoning Appeals of Raleigh County which could stop the further progression of the project.
