STOP THE GENOCIDE IN PALESTINE! CALL FOR A CEASEFIRE NOW!
The Issue
The brutal aerial bombardment campaign that Israel’s occupation is currently waging against the besieged Gaza Strip is an escalation of the Zionists’ 75-year project of ethnically cleansing Palestine. For over sixteen years, the Zionist entity has trapped Palestinians in Gaza through a complex land, air, and sea siege, denying them access to food, water, and essential medical treatment.
The Zionist entity maintains this world’s largest ever Concentration Camp through routine bombing campaigns that demolish critical infrastructure and murder of thousands of Palestinians. This is the reality for the Palestinian people of Gaza. During this crazed, rabid war that Israel waged on Gaza’s civilian population, in the last few weeks alone, the occupation forces has killed more than 12,000 people mostly children and women, with over 3,700 missing, tens of thousands injured many remain under the rubbles. They’ve displaced over one million Palestinians in North Gaza under the threat of near death with no access to food or water. In the last few days alone, the occupation has destroyed tens of thousands of homes, hundreds of schools, over twenty medical centers, has prevented food, water, basic medical aid from entering the besieged area, and has entirely cut off their power and fuel supply.
The United States complacency in the face of this crime against humanity (which is how ethnic cleansing is defined in the dictionary of international law) transformed the ethnic cleansing into the ideological infrastructure on which the Jewish State was built. Ethnic cleansing became the DNA of Israeli-Jewish society and remains a daily preoccupation for those in power not just in Israel, but in the United States. The occupation and treatment of the Palestinians in the West Bank, the erection of the apartheid wall, the silent transfer of Palestinians from Jerusalem, the rapid expansion of illegal settlements, the oppression of the Bedouins in Al-Naqab, and this continued decades long siege on Gaza are all stages or components in an ongoing ethnic cleansing operation supported and funded by the United States.
For a century, the Zionist colonization of Palestine has proceeded primarily on the pragmatic principle of the quiet establishment of facts on the ground, which the world was to ultimately come to accept. It has been a highly successful policy up until now. The ease of information exchange has awoken people worldwide. Israel pleads “security” as justification for its decades long aggressive and violent actions ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. There would be no security problem if Israel were to accept the international call to withdraw from the territories it conquered in 1967.
The United States military, economic, diplomatic, and ideological support for Israel with total disregard for the rights of the brutalized Palestinians can no longer be tolerable. This unwavering iron-clad support of the Zionist regime present an existential risk to our security and way of life. Working to change the United States policies towards this issue should be our priority.
We the people, ask that you concentrate your political efforts on this. Start with a demand for a ceasefire and allowing the flow of humanitarian aid now!
