The gas price increasing in Newfoundland and Labrador is getting ridiculous. It has been increasing more rapidly this year more then ever and there is no light at the end of this tunnel. With gas prices increasing. Everything else has been increasing. Groceries, building materials, shipping costs, ect. Furnace oil has sky rocketed as well. We as Newfoundlanders cannot heat our homes, keep food in the fridge, or drive to work with these prices. Add up the cost of living and take a person making minimum wage, they have a child to support. Child care expenses, rent or a mortgage, gas to and from work or essentials, furnace oil or electric, and groceries. That's just the basics. How can someone afford to work outside their home like that? You wonder why so many people choose not to work. Because they can't afford to get to work. This gas increasing has to stop! It's not right! Please sign this petition and let's do our best to get our voices heard!
