East Sparta is a small, close-knit community where residents take pride in our local businesses and the character of the town. Now, an unnecessary fuel canopy is being proposed, despite the fact that we already have a gas station just down the street.

We, the residents of East Sparta and Sandy Valley Local School District community members, do not want another gas station. This project does not serve our community's needs. Instead of adding another fuel station, we should be focusing on projects that truly benefit our community, such as small businesses, parks, or improvements to existing infrastructure.
