Stop the FMCSA from governing and or limiting the speeds of semi trucks

The Issue

The Fmcsa wants to limit the speeds of big trucks. This will lower pay for all truck drivers alike. Will slower US productivity and create delays with the movement of goods across the nation. Not to mention dangerous. States with lower truck speed limits have a higher semi involved crash statistic than states where both public vehicles and semi trucks share the same speed limits.

Truck drivers as it is have issues returning home most weeks with a 70 hour clock to abide by. This would make it nearly impossible. When i get home i have only minutes to spare when i set my brakes.  This would make it impossible to make a paycheck and see my family. I would have to pick one or the other. Things aren't exactly easy right now in those categories with freight rates being low and fuel costs being high.

It is actually unconstitutional for any such law to be made under the interstate commerce act. As shown below.

interstate commerce, in U.S. constitutional law, any commercial transactions or traffic that cross state boundaries or that involve more than one state. The traditional concept that the free flow of commerce between states should not be impeded has been used to effect a wide range of regulations, both federal and state.

Help me fight back by signing this petition!!
